La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. Only accredited La Leche League Leaders are authorized to represent and/or speak for La Leche League International. Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine and a discount on items purchased from LLLI The La Leche League International mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and the mother.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Meeting Information LLL of Worcester offers a regular Series Meeting on the second Tuesday 9:30-11:30 at 551 Pleasant St. Worcester in the Phelan Center. We are grateful to Blessed Sacrament for the use of their facility but not affiliated with any religion. Babies and children are welcome at our meetings. We have an additional Series Meeting one Saturday a month at the Family Health Center of Worcester, Inc. 26 Queen St Worcester, MA 01610 located across from the WIC office.

Leader Information La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
At this time we are unable to provide personal breastfeeding help via e-mail. For answers to your questions by e-mail, you can use the LLLI Help Form, and you will receive a reply from an accredited volunteer LLL Leader within a week.
