Meeting Information

Nursing Beyond a Year

Do you have an older nursling or are you curious about nursing a toddler? If so, please join us for our Nursing Beyond a Year meeting. Typical conversation topics include nighttime parenting, weaning, healthy eating habits, setting limits, dental caries - and the joys and challenges of a more mobile and sometimes verbal child!  Connect with other mothers of older nurslings while the kids play - playdate for kids, social time and support for moms!

This meeting is open to all mothers who are interested; you don't need to have attended the regular La Leche League meetings to come.  

We meet the last Wednesday of each month, 10:00 am, at the Winooski Family Center at the O'Brien Community Center, 32 Mallets Bay Avenue, Winooski.  For more information, please call Laura 985-8228.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
