All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information.
Meeting Information
LLL of Silver Lake meets at 7:15 pm on the second Thursday of every month at the Duxbury Free Library on Alden Street in the Merry Room.
Our monthly meetings cover the following topics:
- The Benefits of Breastfeeding
- At Home with Your New Baby
- The Normal Course of Breastfeeding- Avoiding and Overcoming Difficulties
- Weaning and Nutrition

Directions: to Duxbury Free Library
Take Route 3 to Exit 11 (Route 14). Turn right off exit towards Duxbury on Route 14 east. Bear right after Police Station, stay on Route 14. At the traffic light at Route 3A, continue straight on St. George Street. Go 0.5 miles to Alden Street on the right. Turn right onto Alden. The Library is a three story red brick building on the left just past the playing field. Main entrance and parking are in the rear of the building. We meet on the ground floor in the "Merry Room". Parking is also available behind the Library.

Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
