La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. Only accredited La Leche League Leaders are authorized to represent and/or speak for La Leche League International. Membership in La Leche League of MA/RI/VT is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year online subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine. The La Leche League International mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and the mother.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Meeting Information LLL of Rutland offers regular Series Meetings at 10:30 am on the first Wednesday of every month at the Grace Congregational Church Nursery, Court Street, Rutland. Additionally, an evening meeting is held on the third Thursday of every month at the Pittsford Congregational Church Nursery, Rt 7, Pittsford, 7-9pm. Our monthly meetings cover the following topics:
Leader Information La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
Every spring, the Massachusetts/Rhode Island/Vermont Area holds an Area Conference. Save the Date: March 3-4, 2012 at CoCo Key Hotel & Water Resort in Danvers MA. Check out our Area Conference information!
