La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. Only accredited La Leche League Leaders are authorized to represent and/or speak for La Leche League International. Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine and a discount on items purchased from LLLI The La Leche League International mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and the mother.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Meeting Information LLL of Northborough meets from 9:30 am to 11:15 am at Westborough Unitarian Universalist Church, 64 West Main St., Westborough,. Please enter through the door facing Ruggles Street and go to the second floor. We welcome women from our community, including Southborough, Westborough, Marlborough, Hopkinton, Grafton, Upton, Northbridge and Shrewsbury. Spring/Summer Meeting Schedule: I. Evaluation Meetings Will be held Monday mornings on May 12, June 16, July 14 and August 11 at 9:30 a.m. Please call Cathleen (number below) for location, directions and confirmation of the meeting date and time. This is a chance for mothers to help with planning our activities and running our group as well as to connect with nursing mothers. Leader Information La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
If you'd like to support us in a very simple but important way, please give us your old cell phones, DVD or VCR players, Ink Jet Printer Cartridges, DVD movies and videogames, laptops, MP3 Players, X-Boxes, Sony Playstations, Wii, digital cameras or digital video cameras, digital picture frames, portable navigation and GPS Devices. Our local LLL Group can get money for each of these items, even if they are not in working order, if we send them to a recycling company! So next time you start to throw away any of these items, please consider calling Cathleen or Karen at the numbers listed above, and we'll arrange to have your items picked up for free so we can help sustain La Leche League of Northborough while protecting our environment!
