La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. Only accredited La Leche League Leaders are authorized to represent and/or speak for La Leche League International. Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine and a discount on items purchased from LLLI The La Leche League International mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and the mother.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Meeting Information LLL of Northampton meets as follows: On the first Friday of each month at 9:30 am and The third Monday of each month at 5:30 pm Both meetings are held at Cradle on Level 3 of Thornes Marketplace at 150 Main St. in Northampton. Parking is available in the parking garage behind the building. There is a ramp from the parking garage into Thornes, and an elevator within Thornes. Our monthly meetings cover the following topics:
Additionally, we hold Toddler Meetings on the Thursday *after* our 1st Friday regular meeting, from 10:30 - 12 noon. These meetings are held in a private home, please contact Lauren for details. Leader Information La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
