Meeting Information
LLL of Newburyport meets on the second Friday of every month at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Newburyport. St Paul's is located at 166 High Street. It is a big stone church on the corner of Summer Street and High Street- right past the Rte 1 exit (across from Lynch's pharmacy). You may park on the streets nearby. In winter you will have more convenient parking on Summer Street. You walk through the courtyard and enter through the door with the covered porch. We meet in the Library, which is to the left of the entrance. At 9 a.m. we start with time for socializing, refreshments, and lessons on slings and baby carriers. Meetings begin promptly at 9:30 and last about an hour. Mothers and expectant mothers are invited to attend; children are welcome too. Please call a Leader for more information.
Our monthly meetings cover the following topics:
- The Benefits of Breastfeeding
- At Home with Your New Baby
- The Normal Course of Breastfeeding- Avoiding and Overcoming Difficulties
- Weaning and Nutrition
