La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. Only accredited La Leche League Leaders are authorized to represent and/or speak for La Leche League International. Membership in La Leche League of MA/RI/VT is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year online subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine. The La Leche League International mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and the mother.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Meeting Information LLL of Framingham usually meets on a Wednesday night from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, follwed by refreshments until 9:30 pm. Please contact a Leader for meeting location and additional information. Our monthly meetings cover the following topics:
Leader Information La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
We thank you for your understanding that our families come first, in the event we need to return your call at a later time, or refer your call to another Leader. At this time we are unable to provide personal breastfeeding help via e-mail. For answers to your questions by e-mail, you can use the LLLI Help Form, and you will receive a reply from an accredited volunteer LLL Leader within a week. Area Conference Information Every spring, the Massachusetts/Rhode Island/Vermont Area holds an Area Conference. Save the Date: March 3-4, 2012 at CoCo Key Hotel & Water Resort in Danvers MA. Check out our Area Conference information! A SPECIAL THANK-YOUThank you to all who participated in our fund raisers last year. The funds we raised will be used to put together new mother packets, to send out monthly mailings and to buy books for our lending library. We hope to see you at this year's events.
