I have two questions:
My 8 week old has been sleeping 5-6 hours at night. But then when I nurse her she ends up spitting it all back up. This only happens at night after she has slept this long. What can I do so she doesn't spit it all back up? Also, she has started pulling off during nursing. I am afraid that she won't be getting all she needs. I hand express some milk so I know that she is getting some, but she gets all mad and latches and detaches over and over. Any advice. |

Hello! Welcome to the forums.
![]() It could be that your breasts are more full after the 5-6 hour sleep stretch. Perhaps your daughter gets a large volume of milk then and spits up the excess? Does she tend to gulp and cough at this feeding? When does she pull off during the feeding? At the beginning? Middle? End? Does milk spray when she pulls off?
