Meet & Greet and Opening Session
Everyone is invited to attend Wednesday night’s Meet & Greet and Opening Session. You’ll be sure to get jazzed up for the upcoming weekend experience while meeting with friends and EUS staff.

Departmental Meetings
Wednesday evening, Thursday morning, and Sunday morning will be devoted to meeting and working within your departments. Or are you interested in learning about specific departments as a future administrator? Join in one or sample a few.

Interdepartmental Sessions
Each Interdepartmental session will bring together two departments to focus on the ways their “lenses” overlap and the harmony of working together for common goals.

Friday Leader Enrichment Sessions
There will be sessions for attendees on Friday to continue learning about Team and other Area Council work; from using technology, to ways of working and communicating, to writing agreements.

HPS kick-off session on Vitamin D
Separate tickets will be sold ($10) for this exciting presentation filled with cutting-edge information on the importance and requirements of Vitamin D for infants and all adults. Attendance in this session is limited to adults and babies in arms. Full HPS registration includes this session.

Healthcare Provider Seminar
On Friday, you may choose to attend the HPS sessions for an additional $60 fee which covers the CERPs and the refreshment breaks. HPS participants will receive a CERP syllabus with all outlines and handouts from these topics. Attendance in these sessions is limited to adults and babies in arms.

Continuing Education Credentialing
Continuing Education Recognition Points CERPs for lactation consultants will be available through a providership with the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners for the Friday HPS Sessions. Total of 8 hours.

Nursing CEUs This seminar has applied for continuing nursing education credits from the PA State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. If approved, this activity will offer a maximum of 8.3 Contact Hours for RNs.

Physician Credits through LLLI Providership LLLI is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. La Leche League International designates the HPS topics for a maximum of 8 hours in Category 1 credit toward the AMA Physicians Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spends in the educational activity.

LLL-EUS Continuing Education Units
La Leche League-Eastern United States Continuing Education Units (LLL-EUS CEUs) in organization and management training (OM) and/or communication skills instruction (CS) will automatically be awarded to all Kaleidoscope attendees. If you choose to attend the HPS, you will receive “BE” or “E” CEUs. Friday open sessions will be designated in the topic listings. Certificates will be signed at the conclusion of Sunday’s closing session.

Exhibitors
Businesses, organizations, and individuals will display items such as jewelry, books, toys, nursing accessories, and more in the Exhibit space on Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Classified Messages
Send a greeting to another Leader or friend. We will print a message in the Kaleidoscope Program Booklet for all attendees to see! Messages are $5 each and must be attached to your registration form. Message deadline is June 15.

Little Gems
Honor your child by listing his/her name in the Kaleidoscope Program Booklet for just $1 per name. Please list names on the registration form as you wish them to appear in the Program Booklet. Deadline is June 15.

Silent Auction
Friday only—A variety of donated items such as gift certificates, event tickets, toys, baby and handmade items, services and more will be available for bidding or entered into a drawing. Each Area that brings a Silent Auction donation will receive one free ticket per Area registrant. Individuals who donate an item will receive one free ticket as well. Winners must be present at the time of closing or make arrangements for someone to pay for and pick up their item(s). To donate to the Silent Auction and Theme Baskets, please contact Erin at LaLeche@mac.com

Marketplace
Does your Area sell magnets, T-shirts, meeting ideas or other items of interest to Leaders? Complimentary tables will be available for Area sale items at the Marketplace on Saturday evening. To reserve a free table, contact Rhonda Harris. The Marketplace will also feature group games, music, and entertainment. Join us for an evening of shopping and socializing!

Secret Pals
Who will be your Secret Pal for the weekend? At registration, you will be able to reach into a basket and pick out the name of another administrator. Bring along a few inexpensive gifts (post-it notes, pencils, stickers, etc.) to have delivered or left discreetly for your Secret Pal throughout the weekend. We hope this will be a fun and creative way to get acquainted!
