There is so much to do here, its almost impossible to list. The most well-known attraction is the US Space & Rocket Center. Also, there is Early Works Children Museum, a hands-on history museum, Huntsville Depot & Museum, full of train and civil war information, Sci-Quest, a hands-on science museum and much more.

We will be using the North Campus Residence Hall, which cost $35 per night, per person for lodging. Each suite has four-bedroom (one bed per room), two-bath suites that have kitchenettes in the common living area. The kitchenette has a 12 cu. ft refrigerator. , a microwave, and sink.  Each with a dining table and four chairs, a sofa, two arm chairs, and end table and a coffee table. Suites are air-conditioned and linens are included.


Directions to UAH
From the NE, including Chattanooga: Take U.S. Highway 72 west. Entering Huntsville, U.S. splits into Interstate-565. Take I-565 to Exit 15 at Sparkman Drive and turn right. Take a right at the fourth red light and take the left fork onto the campus. Follow that road past Morton Hall. Take a right after Morton Hall. The Admissions Office is located ahead.

From the South, including Birmingham: Take I-65 North. Take exit 340 east to Huntsville. Use Exist 15 at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center; turn left at the second traffic signal onto Sparkman Drive. Cross over I-565 and take a right at the fourth red light and take the left fork onto the campus. Follow that road past Morton Hall. Take a right after Morton Hall. The Admissions Office is located ahead.

From the East, including Atlanta: Take I-20 west to Birmingham, then I-65 North. Use directions above.

From the North, including Nashville: Take I-65 South. Use Exit 340 and take I-565 east to Huntsville. Follow directions above.

From the West, including Memphis: Take U.S. Highway 72 East. Entering Huntsville, U.S. 72 becomes University Drive. After crossing the Sparkman Drive overpass, turn right at the next traffic light onto the UAH campus. (Putman Drive turns into Ben Graves Drive on campus.) Follow Ben Graves until you reach a fork. Turn left. Follow that road past Morton Hall. Take a right after Morton Hall. The Admissions office is located ahead.

Take US 72 ALT through Decatur. US 72 ALT becomes I-565. Take I-565 East to Huntsville. Take Exit 15 at the US Space & Rocket Center. Turn LEFT at the 2 nd traffic light onto Sparkman Drive. At the 4 th traffic light, turn RIGHT onto Ben Graves Drive and immediately veer LEFT. Proceed to the University Center.

By air: Daily flights arrive at and depart from the Huntsville International Airport. UAH is located approximately 20 minutes from it. Follow the sign to exit the airport to I-565 East. Take I-565 East to Huntsville. Take Exit 15 at the US Space & Rocket Center. Turn LEFT at the 2 nd traffic light onto Sparkman Drive. At the 4 th traffic light, turn RIGHT onto Ben Graves Drive and immediately veer LEFT.
