Children’s and Family Activities
Families are the heart and soul of La Leche League conferences and including children of all ages is what makes us unique. Please remember that while it may be easy for you to listen and learn around your child’s noises (happy or unhappy), others may find it difficult. Babies and toddlers often will enjoy a stroll, some down-time in the Rock & Rest room or a visit to the Children’s Activities Area. Please leave a session if your children’s noises are not quickly quieted at the breast or through distraction. You are welcome to return to your session when your child is ready. Please bring only quiet, expendable toys to conference sessions.

To ensure the safety of your children, please supervise them at all times. Caregivers must be of an appropriate age, bearing in mind the public atmosphere at the conference facility. We will be sharing the facility with other groups.

Children’s Activities Area
A Children’s Activities Area will be in the Living Room. The area will have puzzles, games and coloring. Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or qualified caregiver age 12 or over.

Discount Tickets for the Water Park are available for conference attendees. To purchase tickets at the discounted group rate, go to https://shop.accesso.com/clients/coco/affiliate/login.php?m=4916 (Enter the Username Leche and password Leche2011). Tickets for the water park sell out during popular weekends, reserve early. Please see the FAQs on the CoCo Key website for information and policies of the Water Park.

Rock & Rest Room
This is a quiet place where parents can spend some quiet time with their babies or to change a diaper.

Stroller permits will be issued only in the following circumstances: a pregnant mother with an attending toddler, a mother with twins, or a mother or child who is physically challenged in some way. Due to safety precautions, no strollers will otherwise be allowed. Please mark the appropriate box on your registration form if you fall into one of these categories. Many parents find slings and front or backpacks helpful for carrying baby.

Saturday Lunch
Join us for lunch on Saturday. The buffet lunch will offer salad and several hot choices, suitable for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Only those adults and children who have purchased a meal will be admitted to the dining room. Children under age 3 may share your meal if they are sitting on your lap. No booster seats or high chairs will be available.
